The purpose is to make the geology of the state available as a seamless dataset for use in regional spatial analyses and other digital applications and for providing a framework for planning and land management and evaluating geologic hazards and resources. It was prepared in cooperation with the U. S. Geological Survey (USGS) National Geologic Mapping Program.<\/span><\/p><\/div>",
