Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN><SPAN>This layer interprets materials testing results that were available at the time of analysis for each project area. Aggregate samples from test sites were tested at materials testing labs for strength and durability qualities. The Los Angeles (LA) Abrasion and the Washington Degradation tests are two methods that labs use to assess if an aggregate material will perform as needed for a variety of aggregate products. Rock materials that break down too much during the testing process will not pass these types of tests.</SPAN></SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
